On the Western Freeway, Pyke's Creek Ballan Victoria - Tuesday 12th July 2016 at 11.45 am Nikolas Barbara tragically lost his life,10 minutes from home, on this Black Spot death trap. A Community is mourning and we fear next it will take another very soon. We urgently begin with Nikolas' memory now..

 Our Goal is to do something urgently, because next time it will be someone else's child.. family and friend. The Grief is cruel because this stretch of Road is a Death Trap with no where to go when Trucks struggle on a stretch of two lanes, then on a blind bend it merges three to two lanes, merely trapping drivers with no where to go..

This Road needs to be widened and warnings are urgently required. A town is mourning and we are all familiar with this stretch, yet not all drivers are familiar when they become boxed in, and people race to beat this..How many people will die before this is fixed? We have been driving this road for over 21 years, we need to make more awareness and encourage change.

Nikolas was only 21 years old, he knew how to drive, we know this he had lost his Dad at 10 years old he evolved into a beautiful Country Kid who had everything to live for, he had plans for the future with a girl, with his friends mates and family.. We can't bring him back ..But we can honor his memory and call for Urgent Action by supporting this Petition before it takes another. No one wants to bury their child..brother, friend, relative.
