Although Charlottetown Polices Services has taken a step in the right direction by installing E-Watch cameras throughout downtown Charlottetown, it is not enough to ensure accountability. 

This petition is to ensure Charlottetown Police Services outfits all on-duty police officers with a body-worn camera and require that the body-worn camera be turned on immediately when officers respond to a call.

This is not a petition against the police officers in Charlottetown, this is a means to ensure justice for everyone involved, officers included.

Officers wearing body cameras should be standard practice.
