THE ONLY CLARITY WE NEED AT THE MOMENT IS...PENSION UPDATION - "SANS"(sænz- sɑ̃) RBI PATTERN???(WITH -OR-WITHOUT RBI PATTERN !?!)

My Dear Friends,

On one side, 12th.BP wage negotiations are heading towards culminatung stage.

Quite obviously we also do expect for the resolution of our long pending pension Updation issue too on parallel lines owing to the fact that the issue is also pending before the Courts where DFS/MOF & IBA are directly involved as parties to the pending litigations both at DHC & SCI respectively.

THE ONLY CLARITY WE NEED AT THE MOMENT IS...

PENSION UPDATION - "SANS"(sænz- sɑ̃) RBI PATTERN???(WITH -OR-WITHOUT RBI PATTERN !?!)

ONE THING IS FOR SURE & CERTAIN.... TO DENY PENSION UPDATION ON RBI PATTERN, IBA NECESSARILY NEED UFBU'S CO-OPERATION FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS SUPPOTED BY THE  DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCES (A PREEMPT MOVE ON THE PART OF IBA-UFBU NEXUS):

Following is the relavent extract of the signed minutes between IBA and all the constituents of UFBU dated 26 03 1994 as circulated among all the member-banks by IBA vide its circular ref.no.PD/CIR/76/G/(ii)/1905 dated 31 03 1994

(By forwarding the signed copy of the minutes appended in the above link, Com. CH Venkatachalam, himself, as The then Genl. Secretary of Tamilnadu Bank Employees Federation CONFIRMED THE FACTS UNDER HIS OWN SIGNATURE ( when Pension Scheme was introduced in the year 1995 ). STILL HE PRETENDS HIS IGNORANCE !!

✴️QUOTE✴️

"... The Draft circulated was mutually accepted by the parties. The following points were further discussed and accepted :

1.....

2. Formula for Up-dating pension should be on the lines of the same given in the Reserve Bank Pension Scheme

ANY CHANGE THEREIN DHOULD BE INTRODUCED ONLY AFTER MUTUAL AGREEMENT"

✴️ UNQUOTE✴️

THEREFORE, PENSION UPDATION "SANS RBI PATTERN" INVARIABLY WARRANTS UFBU'S INTERVENTION IN TERMS OF THE ABOVE AGREEMENT WHICH CANNOT BE RULED OUT OWING TO THE CLANDESTINE UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN IBA & UFBU DURING THE LATEST CLC PROCEEDUNGS HELD IN THIS REGARD EARLY THIS YEAR AT NEW DELHI  FOLLOWED BY MUMBAI- Ie: 24 01 2023  /  31 01 2023 /  &               07 02 2023

AT THE SAME , IT ALSO CANNOT BE MADE PUBLIC AT THIS JUNCTURE FOR BEING SUBJUDICE INASASMUCH AS THE COURT ADJOURNMENTS ARE FIXED FOR THE SUBMISSION OF REPORTS BY DFS & IBA IN DHC & SCI RESPECTIVELY ON  07 11 2023 AND 21 11 2023

THEREFORE TILL THEN, LET US WAIT KEEPING OUR " FINGERS CROSSED "

NOT WITHSTANDING THE ABOVE HURDLES.....

With the Divine blessings of Matha Kanaka Durga abode इन्द्रकीलाद्रि - विजयवाद Indrakeeladri- Vijayawada, let us hope to bring solace to the grief-stricken hearts of the bank retirees in general and the SUPER SENIORS IN PARTICULAR only in the sole interest of justice & fair play.

With Greetings & Regards,

I am also very happy to share the following feedback received from one of my Learned  active friends - Com. S Subramani , from Canara Bank, Chennai responding to my above post. A very down-to-earh observation indeed.. kudos to com.subramani.

IBA does not need the co operation of UFBU for denying Pension Updation.
If there is Govt.'s will there will be updation. UFBU is only a passive signatory.

We are seeing the COD for wage revision. We are seeing circulars regardng the progress of  talks for the ongoing wage revision process.

Did we see any such progress in the case of implementation of 30% Flat FPR ?

Did we see any discussion details in respect of 100% DA matter ?

Both the above two matters were only announced and/Or signed between IBA and UFBU.

UFBU is only a passive signatory signing on dotted lines on the drafts brought in by the IBA.

Are we now seeing any updates on the progress of the Pension Updation matter ??

If at all that happens , it will be only a Unilateral implementation by the Govt. through IBA.

As usual the UFBU will be a passive signatory.

UFBU's sole concern is Levy.

For that they now want 15% wage revision and 5 days' banking.

They are ready to sign any pension updation / improvement scheme on dotted lines.

[27/10, 16:29]DEVULAPALLI MURTI:

Obviously UFBU do sign on the dotted lines...

BUT PROJECT AS THEIR OWN ACHIEVEMENT TO THE PUBLIC ..

MERE A  DRAMA & A MELO-DRAMA..

I DO CONCUR WITH YOUR STATEMENT..
