Dear Comrades,
Today's meeting with IBA Meeting of the Sub-Committee for Workman Unions was held in the morning session and with officers associations in the post lunch session.
Regarding discussions with officers' association, we learn that IBA informed AIBOA representatives that in view of the disputes on leadership, they can allow any one representative as mutually agreed by them or else none of them can attend. In view of this, in this discussions also AIBOA could not participate.
Regarding workman unions, it was pointed out to IBA that since BEFI did not sign the 11th BPS, they were not being invited for further discussions with IBA. Further, in the past also, when BEFI/some other Unions did not sign settlements, they were allowed further participation in the BP Talks only after signing an agreement with IBA accepting the earlier settlement/s as it happened during 6th and 7th BP settlement. Secondly BEFI has submitted a separate charter of demands.
IBA agreed to examine this issue in the light of the above and take their decision in the matter shortly.
We shall keep our Office Bearers informed of further developments.
Regarding details of discussions on the issues, UFBU circular is being issued.

✴️ IBA CEASE TO BE A RECOMMENDING AUTHORITY AND BECOMES A MERE REPRESENTATIVE TO PLACE BEFORE THE PAY COMMISSION ON BEHALF OF THE MANAGEMENTS.
✴️ ALL THE MINOR CONSTITUENTS WILL COME OUTOF THE "IRON- CLUTCHES' OF THE "HIJACKER" & CAN FREELY REPRESENT TO THE "PAY COMMISSION" WITH DIGNITY & DECORUM THUS KEEPING THEIR INDIVIDUL IDENTITIES AT HIGH ESTEEM.
✴️ THUS EFFECTIVE TRIPARTIE SYSTEM REPLACES THE REDUNDENT BIPARTITE SYSTEM
✴️ OWING TO THE TIME-BOUND DURATION OF THE PAY COMMISSION, EARLY SETTLEMENT COULD BE ENSURED. NO DRAGGING FOR YEARS TOGETHER ONLY FOR "LEIVY COLLECTIONS "
✴️ SETTLEMENT COULD BE SIGNED IN THE PRESENCE OF CLC IN TERMS OF THE PROVISIONS OF THE ID ACT.
✴️THUS THE ENTIRE BANK WORKFORCE WOULD GET "A SIGH OF RELIEF" IN ALL RESECTS.
✴️QUOTE✴️...Only the PCR Recommendations (Committee constituted by GOI), brought a sea change in the service conditions of the Bank Officers. This is besides many other committees constituted by the Governments in the past resulted to bring improvisations in the service conditions of the bank employees at large in the form of various “awards “ over a period of time. Let us not, therefore, lose sight of these historical facts.... ✴️UNQUOTE✴️
BANKING PAY COMMISSION IS THE ONLY EFFECTIVE ALTERNATE IN THE INTEREST OF ALL EMPLOYEES-- WORKING OR RETIRED FOR THE REASONS MORE VIVDLY EXPLAINED IN THE ABOVE LINK.
