OUR CRUSADE FOR PENSION REVISION - KUDOS TO OUR COMRADES FOR THEIR VALLIENT EFFORTS
I take immense pleasure to share with you all for the strenuous efforts made by our colleague comrades to take up our burning issues of Pension Revision / 100% DA neutralization to pre-November 2002 retirees for CALL ATTENTION MOTION during the ongoing winter session of the Parliament through Dr. D. Ravikumar, Hon'ble Member of Parliament representing from Villupuram - Tamilnadu , who was also our colleague in Syndicate Bank.
We are indeed very much thankful to Sri D. Ravikumar for his evincing keen interest and instantaneous positive response when a reference is made about our issues to the Honble MP.
I also express my thanks to my colleagues - Sri Subbu Swamy, Sri P. R. Krishnan & others for their initiative in this regard.

as s sequel to my call to him yesterday.. S.Subbuswamy a very senior retiree from Syndicate Bank bank, who is above 80 years of age had requested Sri. D.Ravikumar MP from TN over phone and also in writing to raise the pension updation request in Parliament.The MP immediately resonded to the request of Sri. S.Subbuswamy.

Sir,
Under Rule 197 of the Reules of procedure and conduct of
Business, I give notice of my intention to call the attention of
the Minister FINANCE on 01 Dec. 2021 to the following matter of urgent public importance and to request the Minister to make a statement thereon:-
The Pension of Public Sector Bank Pensioners, which came into effect from 1.1.1986, has not been revised even once, while the salary of the employees has been revised several times.
Therefore, the Reserve Bank Pension Revision, which has been done by the Government from 1.3.2019, should be done in other PSBs too. 100% DA to the pensioners of pre-November 2002 is not given . This discrimination should be removed.

Excellent. This is the crux of the point that is being relevantly and correctly raised irrespective of the status of litigation relating to the matter, out come or not from this Committe of IBA, or that Settlement / Joint Note between IBA & UFBU. KUDOS.

This is a very significant and and highly appreciable initiative that secured and sought the help of Honourable Member of Parliament Shri D Ravikumar for realisation of pension updation.
Also this is like a stitch in time when the parliament is in session and hardly anyone has any clue as to whether IBA recommendation is sent to the finance ministry or not.
The information or statement sought by Honourable M P Shri D. Ravikumarji is crystal clear without any ambiguity.
The reply to the call attention will clear the air and it will provide reliable and accurate current status in the matter of pension revision.
My heartfelt THANKS to you respected Shri Srinivasa Murti Sirji, Shri Subbu Swamy Sirji and Shri P R Krishnan Sirji. The bank pensioners fraternity is keenly awaiting for the reply on the call attention move, with fond hope of some positive expression in the matter.
