WITH THE COMMITTED EFFORTS OF CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS / ORGANIZATIONS ALONE WE COULD SUCCESSFULLY SECURE A " POSITIVE NOD" FROM THE GOVERNMENT.. THIS HARD REALITY IS UN PALATABLE TO THE WORKING ORGANISATIONS AND THER RETIREE OUTFITS.
UNABLE TO DIGEST THIS HARD REALITY, UFBU & THEIR RETIREE OUTFITS HAVE NOW RESORTED TO CREATE CONFUSION IN THE MINDS OF THE GULLIBLE MEMBERS .

Receiving fake news is common for Bank pensioners. There was plenty of such fake news.
But for the first time somebody has fooled everybody .
IBA HAS FORMED COMMITTEE TO STUDY VARIOUS ASPECTS OF UPDATION AND FIRST MEETING WILL BE HELD ON 22.06.2021.
This news reported to be originated from Sri.Ashok Patil an office bearer of AIBRF started making rounds few days back.
While Shri.Ashok Patil himself was not available for contact many reputed and reliable sources claimed that Ashok Patil has confirmed the news .
And then they claimed Sri. Ashok Patil has confirmed a meeting has taken place and outcome will be available in one or two days.
Again the same reputed source claimed that it is an internal committee meeting and the IBA will not divulge the outcome and will discuss the issue with Unions.
Now the reputed source claims it is fake news and NO SUCH MEETING TOOK PLACE ON 22.06.2021

GOOD NEWS FOR BANK RETIREES
Dear Friends ,
In order to sort out the long pending issue of Updation of Pension of Bank Retirees, the Indian Banks Association (IBA) has reportedly formed a committee of eight General Managers of PSBs, Mr Kharwa, Chairman of SBI and Mr Sunil Mehta, CEO of IBA under the Chairmanship of Mr Raj Kiran Rai, Chairman of IBA.
They will meet on 22nd June, 2021 .
It is hoped that the wisdom will prevail upon the Committee and the issue of Updation of Pension is resolved on the lines of that of RBI.
Let's await their report. Regards.

I checked up with Sri Ashok Patil and he has confirmed the message .
We need to have some patience for release of family pension and pension revision at RBI pattern as additional load estimates are now being studied by the committee formed at IBA.

Yes, I received the phone call this morning from Mr.Umesh Sharma, retired DGM SBI who had discussions with the F.M., Secretary DFS as also with Prime minister and convinced them for early decision on retirees issues. Mr. Sharma also informed that the DFS has approved revision of family pension and agreed for granting payment of 100% D.A .to the pre Nov.2002 retirees which recommendations the DFS has forwarded to PMO for final scrutiny and announcement from PMO. Also informed IIBA decided to form a eight member committee consisting of eight General Managers from PSBs under chairmanship of SBI chairman Mr.Kharwa to be assisted by Mr.R.K.Rai, Mr.Sunil Mehta etc. Let us expect something positive to be announced at last.
