IN OUR LONG JOURNEY OF CRUSADE FOR JUSTICE……
Having been ditched by the working organisations under the banner of UFBU, for over two decades, Pension updation has been made a “Mirage”…
IBA & UFBFU being the two sides of the same coin, stepped into each other’s shoe to sign the “NOTORIOUS MAGNA CARTA” in the form of RECORD NOTE OF 2015, to burry our aspirations once for all in a bid to make us to stand before them as “BEGGERS” for their “MERCY” !
The so called major retiree organisations too have been made “dummies “ of the working organisations - THIS HAS BEEN OUR PAST BITTER EXPERIENCE FOR OVER TWO DECADES…..
The success story of RBI retirees, who fought for the restoration of pension updation both organizationally as also on the legal front simulatnerously, could aultimately won the battle for the restoration of Pension Upadation .
It’s heartening to note they could secure solidarity support from their working unions in all their Action Programmes.
Unmindful of little support from our working unions under the banner of UFBU some of our activist organistions / individuals have been fighting for the justice besides BUILDING UP PERSSURE ON THE MANAGEMENTS IN THE FORM OF CBI PROBES ON THE MANAGEMENT OF PENSION CORPUS BASING ON THE PRIMA FACIE EVIDENCE MADE AVAILABLE TO THEM.
THIS HAS BECOME “THE HANGING SWORD” ON SOME BANKS WHO INDULGED IN MANUPULATIONS IN PENSION CORPUS.

One of our learned senior comrades has established direct access to the Prime Minsters Office who could utilize the opportunity successfully that ultimately culminated into the direct intervention of our Hon’ble FM Smt. Nirmala Sitharamanji who came on to the scene with her Public interview on Business Line – one of the accredited English daily for the cause of the lamenting lot of the Bank Pensioners with a specifc stress on Pension Updation.
On the following day, Hon’ble FM reiterated her stance in her inaugural address of AGM of IBA while addressing the Banks CEOs and other members of IBA. The Bank CEOs have responded positively to the suggestions made by the Hon’ble FM which you are quite aware of.
