Bank unions charter of demands regarding pensioners issues

Let us come to know what steps have been taken by UFBU for achieving these demands. Let us ask them to answer honestly what efforts they have taken to realize these demands.

We have been honest and dedicated union members.
We now ask them to prove that they have been honest unionists.

Let us go through their own charter of demands and think over their stand on it.

13. THE MEDICAL INSURANCE PREMIUM FOR RETIREES
Premium fixation to be discussed with the unions before renewal.
Premium to be paid by banks as in the case of in service employees

17.  IMPROVEMENT IN PENSION SCHEME:
Periodical Pension updation  along  with  wage  revision  of  service employees
Family Pension –
To be improved at par with RBI/ Government scheme

37.  RETIRED EMPLOYEES

1 Follow up of the issues covered by Record Note dated 25-5-2015

2 LFC to be extended to retired bank employees.

3 Under medical insurance scheme for retirees, premium fixation to be discussed with the unions before renewal.

4 Premium under medical insurance scheme to be borne by the Banks instead of collecting from the retirees.

5 Ex-gratia to pre 1986 non SBI retirees/widows to be revised.

6 Revision of Family Pension rates without any ceiling.

7 Revising the Basic Pension of all past retirees at the common index point under 11th BPS.

8 Uniform rate of DA for all pensioners and removal of slab system for past retirees

9 The  percentage  of  allocation  towards  welfare  schemes  of  retirees should be uniformly defined.

10 Updation of pension for past retirees and periodical pension revision in future along with wage revision.

11 DA revision/change on pension to be like serving employees

Is it anti unionism to ask these NEGOTIATORS  why they have not moved even a pawn in their negotiation game with IBA? 

Is it a historic achievement for not opening their mouth for achieving these demands?

Let us remind the four officers forums that in no where they have uttered to demand an actuary for arriving at the funds capability to meet these demands.

Let us remind them that it is a charter not to demand but to surrender. Why should it be called as charter of demands giving a imaginary and illusionary  impression to the pensioners/

let us suggest that it  is a charter of surrender or a Illusionary charter of demands.

If the settlement denies the pensioner their rights and deprives of their  meals and medicines, then what we can call it is that IT is nothing but  a BLACK SETTLEMENT. 

Bank pensioners should come under one umbrella to lodge a relentless battle against all odds and bring justice  back to prevail in banking industry.
