=====

You are all quite aware of the Orders passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the contempt petition # 209/2019 filed recently.

You are also quite aware of the fact that a letter dated 4th.September 2017    was addressed to the Chairman  of State Bank of India by Com. C N Prasad, General Secretary State Bank of India Retirees Association  who  is the pivotal personality of this long drawn legal battle since 2001 followed by a separate letter dated 10 09 2019 is addressed by the Secretary General  of  All India Retired Bank Employees Association to the Chairman, Indian Banks' Association, Mumbai

In continuation to the above,  I wish to inform you that all  the arrangements are being expedited to address separate letters to all the petitioner /respondent-banks   individually for the implementation of the orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court on similar lines to those already addressed to SBI and IBA  as above.

You are also  quite aware that in addition to the payment of commutation arrears( together with interest), It is also ordered for the payment of the difference in DA as per PR#37 (which constitutes a sizeable amount that could be equated/more than   the relief under 100%DA) as observed  by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in its above  judgment in the Contempt Petition # 209 of 2019
