OUR MISSSION FOR SECURING JUSTICE TO RETIRED BANK EMPLOYEES
Dear all,

I am glad to inform that all legal steps to secure justice to retired bankers have been taken in a very meticulous way and in the writ petitions we filed in Kerala, bank has filed counteraffidavit in five petitions which are having no substance and are not properly correlated to the averments in our plaint.    Our reply affidavit making things very clear  the anomalies are also comoiled and handed over to the respective counsels who will be filing them in the re-opening court (today onwards it is Onam vacation) which are likely to be heard without delay.  Possibly this month itself the hearing can take place.   For a safety margin, we can reckon 15th October, 2019 as an outer limit when issues relating to Joint Note as also updating of pension  may get cleared with no scope for escalation to bank and government even to the Division Bench.    What I feel is that my work is almost finished so far as relating to majority of issues involved.  In the case of 2000-2001 retirees, the benefit accruing can be to the tune of Rs.30/- to Rs.50/- lakhs by way of pension from the date of retirement and refund of the unlawful congributions, apart from 70 to 80 percent hike in pension, the latter being common for all pensioners.  In the case of subsequent retirees who have alreday got the benefit of updating through increase in pay while in service, increase will be lesser.  Let all of us wait eagerly for another month to pass away

Regards

Well done Sri Venugopal garu !  Kudos to you.....

Better late than never.... At last,  our collective  concerted efforts right from the day we retired  from the services of the banks in 2001,  results are now surfacing one by one.  All our legal battles have been proved to be a successful in the wake of the recent judgment pronounced by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the recent contempt petition in 1616-1684 DA issue which has now become the GATEWAY for a positive out come  ie. 100% DA to pre-2002 retirees / updation of pension considering the observations made in the following link:

Considering the above,  Ultimately  together we all have collectively  put a "CHECKMATE " to the IBA/Managements/UFBU  "  WHO ARE THE SOLE ARCHITECTS AND COPYRIGHT HOLDERS OF THEIR NOTORIOUS  "MAGNACARTA - RECORD NOTE."

It's unfortunate to note even all  the retiree organisations without any exception have been playing very passive roles  setting aside the basic guiding principles of Trade Unionism -
"Agitation, Litigation and Negotiations" thus making our collective bargaining power into a collective Begging......  It's a befitting lesson to the Leadership

I once again extend my hearty congratulations to you  for the cause of the lamenting lot of the retiree fraternity.

In fact,  I always cherish my  ever lasting association with you and our  other fighting battery of  our beloved comrades.

Long Live Our Crusade for Justice.

With Greetings and Regards,

“|| यतो धर्मस्ततो जयः ||” IS THE ULTIMATE......
I remain - Yours,
