Commuration Arrears in 1616-1684 DA case

LATEST POSITION  OF THE CONTEMPT PETITION FILED BY STATE BANK RETIREES ASSOCIATION (E-ASSOCIATE BANK RETIREES ASSOCIATION):  ARREARS ON COMMUTATION WITH INTEREST  IN 1616-1684 DA CASE IS ALSO A PART OF THE CONTEMPT PETITION NOW PENDING BEFORE THE SUPREME COURT. 

Referring to the above,  I invite your Kind attention to my earlier communication in this regard (as appended here under).     

In this connection, I had a detailed talk with  our learned senior friend - Com. C N Prasad garu just a little while ago,  and as informed, the case which came up today, has been further posted to 9th August, 2019.

In fact,  Com. Prasad had detailed discussions with all the concerned in this regard.   As per the available information,  we are confident of positive results as prayed for. 

Accordingly, among other parts of the prayer, we are quite confident of   getting the commutation arrears together with interest thereon  as prayed for.  

 You will soon hear further details after 9th.August, 2019.   

I once again reiterate my acknowledgements for  the commendable efforts being put in by our Learned Senior friend Com. C N Prasad  for over 18 long years. 

Further in particular,  I am also immensely happy to share that       Com. C N Prasad has been elected as the Genl.Secretary of State Bank Retirees Association along with another senior colleague of mine viz. Sri Ayyadevara Anantha Krishna Rao as its President during the recently held foundation conference held at Bangalore during the fist week of this month.

In today's hearing, Shri Tushar Mehta, Solicitor General appeared for the Bank and claimed that they have complied with. Our Advocate sought time of one week to file reply affidavit along with calculation sheets. Time is granted. Next date of heaing is during last week of this month. Thereafter Advocate for the Bank requested us to meet AGM, PPG for complying with the orders of the Supreme Court.
