MY DEAR FRIENDS,

IS PAUCITY OF FUNDS FOR PENSION UPDATION AN ALIBI ??...AS RAISED BY  AIBEA/AIBOA ...??

EVIDENTLY THERE HAS BEEN CLANDESTINE UNDERSTANDINGS BETWEEN THE IBA AND THE MAJOR CONSTITUENTS OF UFBU DURING THE NEGOTIATIONS TILL THE RECENT PAST...

But, the  Paucity of funds to meet the cost of updation  has been the latest alibi raised by the  same Gen.Secy  AIBEA  by himself in the  open auditorium before the vast congregation of the Bank Fraternity during  his address in the Inaugural Session of the Silver Jubilee - year  Annual Conference of AIBRF ( held at New Delhi on 1st.March, 2019 followed by its  business sessions  on 2nd. and 3rd. March, 2019. )  Prior to that the IBA Chairman gave his inaugural address . Glaringly, even the IBA chairman, himself did not make any negative comments concerning our demands but he affirmatively expressed himself that he would positively respond if "a demand is  made   by the constituents of UFBU during the negotiations".  See the contrast.....!!

Again, It was the same Gen.Secy who   had been  categorically expressing  that ,   He Would not sign any settlement unless and until the retirees issues were resolved - as being  his FIRST AND FOREMOST PRIORITY ,  even during the then- ongoing negotiations in the past.  This is the  Credibility of the Leadership!!!  Less said the better.....

Further to my view point as already enunciated above,  as to  the  "Paucity of Funds"  as raised by AIBOA/AIBEA ,    I annex here a link to the analysis as made out by ALLAHABAD BANK RETIREES WELFARE SOCIETY ,  which according to me,  sounds very logical and a befitting rejoinder to the above.   I annex here my communication addressed to one of my learned friends for his valuable reaction for more clarity in vivid. 

The contents are self-explicit.   I also appeal to all our learned friends to contribute their thoughts in our own collective interest.

I append here a link  that contains a beautiful analysis as made out by Allahabad Bank Retirees Welfare Society in support of the availability of funds to meet the cost of pension updation.

I feel it's a very good rejoinder to the contention of "Paucity of Funds"  for Pension Updation as raised by AIBEA/AIBOA.
