WHILE THE PROCESS OF FILING CURATIVE PETITION IN OUR 100% DA CASE IS BEING EXPEDITED, I WISH TO SHARE WITH YOU ALL THE FOLLOWING:
You are quite aware that since a long time, a few of our active colleagues individually have been volunteering to take up the issues concerning the retirees directly with authorities concerned besides seeking legal recourse as is evident from the recent Apex Court judgments.
Being one among the above, I too have been, individually taking up the issues relentlessly with all the concerned from time to time with the support and encouragement of my learned colleagues.
The success in the recent 1616-1684 DA issue has raised lot of hopes in our 100% DA issue too - owing to the fact that the three preceding favourable judgments in the lower courts were all in our favour (barring one - ie. Madras HC.Div.Bench) - But the reality has been otherwise to our dismay.
Right from the date of the judgment ie. May 16, 2018 , Like some of our learned colleagues, I too have been taking up the matter with all the concerned in a bid to extend support to those who are in the fore front of the legal battle - As a matter of morale boosting exercise.
In this process, I have been addressing individual letters to various authorities in the Government/Judiciary/legal luminaries/judicial officers /MPs/ Members of Bar Councils -SC/HCs / Media Persons etc. pin pointing the glaring injustice meted out at the bank retirees.
Vide my letters addressed to the Hon'ble Chief Justice/Judges of the Supreme Court dated May 19, 2017 & August 17, 2018 followed by the latest one being that of - October 22, 2018 , I have been requesting to initiate CAG Audit in view of the embezzlement of Funds in the Pension Corpus of the Banks with Prima-facie evidence with facts and figures.
In fact, Hon'ble Apex Court had even acknowledged my complaint vide their Diary # 22258/2017 and kept the same under process.
Since then, I have been sending my above communications through all the available means at my disposal -Viz: E-Mail, Twitter, Whatsapp, Besides, I have also been despatching my communications to the various authorities in the Govt./MPs/ Supreme Court - CJ/Judges/Legal Luminaries/ members of the Bars-SC/HCs and Media Personalities etc. Even the Hard copies were also despatched by Courier/Speed Post depending upon the urgency of the matter from time to time.
In the above back drop, I have been getting feed backs from certain important quarters in the legal community - the latest one being - a senior advocate has recently called on me over phone complementing me for the effective way of presenting the case before the CJI-SCI vide my above communication/s - to quote him - "... The earlier CJ Sri Dipak Misra himself should have taken cognizance of your communication in view of the gravity of the situation as enunciated by you with prima-facie evidence on the face of it. Somehow I wonder how it could skip His attention......."
Further, He volunteered to address detailed letter/s to all the concerned authorities in the Apex Judiciary considering the fact that Curative Petition/s are under process.
I profusely thanked Sri.xxxxxxx Sr.Adv. for having come forward voluntarily with his compassionate gesture for our cause.
I am also given to understand through certain reliable quarters that some of the Hon'ble judges even have expressed their regrets before some of the Sr.advocates (in privacy ), for the bad judgment which needs to be undone/corrected at a higher level .
