HON’BLE SUPREME COURT’S CONTRADICTING JUDGMENTS ON A COMMON ISSUE – Ie. DEARNESS RELIEF TO THE BANK PENSIONERS
As a part of my on-going efforts in my crusade for justice to the lamenting fraternity of Bank Retirees, I requested the Bar Associations of various High Courts vide my following letter dated 1st. November, 2018 - Contents are self explicit.
I have already addressed a few individual letters to some of the legal luminaries (to the extent I could gather so far) , in a bid to elicit their valuable support/suggestions/feedback.
This effort on my part , as I feel, is of immense utility, to bring about more awareness , and as a consequence, to make it as a focal debating point among the judicial circles throughout the length and breadth of the country as to its impending ill-conceived ramifications on the prevailing long-drawn justice-delivery system of the country......
as we contemplate filing a curative petition – A major task shouldered by UBIRWA & Ors, my effort, as I feel , will accelerate the momentum for a logical conclusion to ensure justice and fair play.

Just recently, I addressed a letter (dated October 22, 2018) to The Hon'ble Sri Ranjan Gogoi congratulating His Lordship on his assuming office as the Chief Justice of India , where in I made an attempt to invite His Lordship’s kind attention - among other things, to the following:
- The pathetic plight of the Bank Retirees
- The discrimination and harassment meted out against them
- The relentless efforts of our learned colleagues to fight back for justice unmindful of the frustrating experiences at the fag-end of our lives.
