Work to merge TVNZ with RNZ is resuming with a group led by former government Minister, Tracey Martin. They are looking at the business case to create a new media entity that would operate with a mixed funding model to see if its a viable option.

If the government goes ahead with its mixed funding model, then we would lose our only public service broadcaster.
