I am a 13 year old whom lives in California. I understand the concept of homework and I think it is necessary. However, I think it is unfair on weekends for homework to be assigned. The weekend is the one time to rest. Also, people may have anxiety and homework brings stress to them (ex. biting nails). I hope this petition or others can bring change in cities and states. 

This petition is ruling the following

• No homework on the weekends.
• Less homework assigned to those whom suffer anxiety.
• Homework on the weekdays happens every other day.
• This applies to both public and private schools.
