We, the concerned citizens, call upon the law enforcement authorities of Mississippi to thoroughly investigate and take appropriate legal action against those involved in the relentless bullying of Aubreigh Wyatt, which led to her tragic death.

On September 4, 2023, 13-year-old Aubreigh Wyatt of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, took her own life due to the relentless bullying and torment she faced from a group of her peers. No one should have to endure what Aubreigh endured, and it is with heavy hearts that we seek justice for her and strive to prevent such tragedies in the future.

Despite this tragic loss, no substantial action has been taken against the alleged perpetrators, and they continue their lives without facing consequences. It has been brought to our attention that a superintendent of another school district and the parent of one of the accused, might have influence over the lack of action taken within the school due to his position.

Furthermore, Heather Wyatt, Aubreigh's mother, has reportedly been ordered by a court to delete her social media accounts that she used to share her daughter’s story and spread awareness. This suppression of her voice is deeply concerning.

We are calling for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding Aubreigh’s death and for appropriate legal action to be taken against those who played a significant role in the bullying she endured. Bullying, regardless of the age of the individuals involved, is a serious issue with severe consequences and must be addressed with the utmost seriousness and responsibility.
