Hold Hotworx Accountable for Unsafe Practices

Hold Hotworx Accountable for Unsafe Practices
The Issue
In an appalling incident at Hotworx, August 5th, 2025 in Coralville Iowa. A man was allowed to intrude into a women's sauna, invade her personal space, and force her to leave before her session was concluded. Despite the distress caused and potential violation of personal boundaries, Hotworx has yet to take meaningful accountability or implement changes to prevent such occurrences from happening again.
This issue is personal to me because I firmly believe in the principle of "human protecting human." We all deserve to feel safe and secure in environments where we seek wellness and relaxation. The fact that a space meant for comfort turned into a space of fear is unacceptable.
Unfortunately, Hotworx has not only failed this woman, but could potentially fail others if decisive actions are not taken to address and rectify their security policies. It is crucial for companies like Hotworx to create a safe, respectful, and secure environment for all clients - particularly women, who are often more vulnerable to such intrusive behavior.
We demand that Hotworx implement stricter security measures and enforce policy changes that ensure all clients can use their facilities without the threat of harassment or intrusion. Possible actions include increased security presence, installing surveillance cameras, and mandatory training for staff on how to handle such situations appropriately.
By holding Hotworx accountable, we can compel them to make their environments safer for all clients. Nobody should have to worry about their personal safety while focusing on their health and wellness.
Join us in demanding change. Sign this petition to hold Hotworx accountable for their lax safety measures and to protect every individual's right to safety and respect in a shared public space. Together, we can make a difference and ensure this never happens again. Sign the petition now.
