HOLD ED MADLIN ACCOUNTABLE - THE VOICE OF THE VOICELESS.

The Issue

Almost a dozen horses owned by Ed Madlin were rescued from years of extreme and unimaginable neglect while being kept on property owned by his grandmother. Ownership of the land does not erase ownership of the animals. These horses depended entirely on him for care, safety, and basic dignity, and they were failed.

The conditions were so severe that four horses were trapped in stalls buried under more than five feet of accumulated manure. They were forced to stand, eat, and exist in filth for years. One horse had to be freed using the Jaws of Life. This suffering was prolonged, preventable, and inhumane. It is nothing short of criminal.

This was not a temporary hardship or an unfortunate oversight. It was a sustained pattern of neglect that violated fundamental animal welfare laws. When someone owns animals, responsibility does not disappear because the property belongs to someone else.

We are demanding the following actions:

• Felony animal cruelty charges be pursued to the fullest extent of the law against Ed Madlin
• Permanent denial of future requests for USTA License.
• A lifetime ban on owning, breeding, training, or possessing animals of any kind

Allowing someone responsible for this level of suffering to retain access to animals places lives at continued risk. Without real legal consequences and permanent restrictions, abuse will repeat.

We call on the USTA and the legal system to act decisively. Hold the owner accountable. File felony charges. Permanently remove the ability to own or control animals.

Please stand with us. Sign this petition to demand justice for these horses and to ensure no animal is ever forced to suffer like this again.
