The Issue

I am a parent speaking out for my son, an active duty military member, who is facing a deeply unfair situation. Recently, his legally parked truck was totaled by a driver from ASRC Construction. The situation is made worse by the fact that the driver claims to have fainted before the accident but refused any medical evaluation, which raises questions about the legitimacy of this claim.

Despite the clear liability, my son is now left in a dire financial situation. The insurance company has designated the payout with a mere $1500 left for my son to use for a new vehicle, far below the cost of replacing the essential vehicle he lost. This is not just unfair; it is unjust. No active duty military member, serving their country selflessly, should be left at such a financial disadvantage because of someone else’s negligence.

I believe ASRC Construction must take full responsibility for their driver’s actions and properly compensate my son for the damages incurred. The profound impact that losing his vehicle has on his ability to perform daily duties and maintain quality of life must be acknowledged and rectified. It is not enough for ASRC to simply walk away after this accident without taking ownership for the full extent of the damage caused.

I urge everyone who believes in justice and fairness to help us seek accountability from ASRC Construction. Companies must be held responsible for the conduct of their employees, especially when it results in significant harm to others. It is imperative that ASRC Construction provides fair compensation that reflects the true cost of the loss, so my son can continue to serve our country without this undue burden.

Please sign this petition to hold ASRC Construction accountable and ensure my son receives the compensation he rightfully deserves. Let your voice be heard and stand up for what is right.
