The students in Hanford Joint Union High School District feel as if the dress code is sexist and unfair. How we feel comfortable dressing should not be a “distraction”. This whole dress code is so unnecessary and wrong. We’re sorry that our body is such a distraction to you but it’s not yours it’s ours.  The staff at school is going into our classrooms disturbing our learning by making them stand up to see if their clothes are too short. We also noticed that different standards are applied to students who are more curvy and developed then other students. We are young adults who should be allowed to wear what we want. The way we dress is a sign of individually and if the way students dress is a problem to the boy’s or men at school, who’s the real problem ?
