Our application to list the building is being considered, but in the meantime the developers are seeking to fast track the application to demolish and redevelop.

Grounds you can object on are;

• The physical impact of the development 
• impact on the street scene, parking, highway and any wider environmental impacts.

You can say that the proposed development and loss of the George Coles Designed, former Debenhams building, would have a negative impact on the visual amenity of the street scene, That it would damage the setting of the listed buildings close by and the first view of the town from Staines Bridge. It would irreparably damage the architectural quality of this important part of the town.
