Hello Everyone,

This campaign is entering an exciting phase. I'm happy to share that #BleedWithDignity was recently covered by TIME8, a leading news daily. Like your constant support and motivation (which I sense from your comments), the media coverage gives me a huge boost to keep fighting for this cause.

After a successful and productive meeting with Debeswar Malakar, the Commissioner of Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC), an IAS officer on 28th May World Menstrual Health Day 28th May, I am following his advice and am getting ready for another major meeting. This could be the clincher!

My next stop is the office of the Commissioner of Elementary and Secondary Education, Government of Assam - Preetom Saikia (IAS). I feel hopeful that he is will respond to my petition and roll-out the installation of sanitary pad vending machines in a few government schools, as a pilot project and then scale it up to all government schools in Guwahati and then the rest of Assam.

I'm sure I can convince the Education Commissioner if he sees 1 Lakh signatures on this petition. So here's where YOU CAN HELP. We need just 11,000 more signatures to hit the 1 Lakh signatures mark. Every signature matters. All you have to do is get your friends and family to sign and share the petition. Simply click on this link https://bit.ly/2XdCMw7 to share my petition via WhatsApp in your circles. Please do it today!

Thank you!
