Government of Himachal Pradesh gave open permissions to kill monkeys in 91 districts of Himachal Pradesh.

They say that the population of monkeys have increased a lot and case of clashes with humans are increasing. But on the other hand government forgets that on the name of development we have been destroying the habitats of monkeys. As a  result they neither have good habitat nor food availability. Killing or poisoning of monkeys is not the solution.

If we are concerned about the population, then government should have first put the check on Human population. Because increasing population of humans requires more place causing deforestation and hence destroying the habitats of these monkeys.

Government should take back this order and find a sustainable alternative way to combat the problem they are facing.
