Dear Supporter, Dr Onkar Sahota, London Assembly member for Ealing and Hillingdon, wrote to FM Conway and has received an invitation to visit the plant. This is likely to take place after the summer holiday period and it is hoped that residents will be able to attend as well. Despite FM Conway changing the carbon filter on the silos and loading bays two weeks ago, residents are still experiencing an unacceptable level of tar odour and have complained to regulatory services at both Ealing and Hillingdon councils about this. Dr Sahota had also written to the Chief Executives for Ealing and Hillingdon councils to ask them what action they are taking to resolve the odour issue. Please continue to share the petition. The complaints data held by Hillingdon, is very small in comparison to the number that have supported the petition, so please complain to the Environmental Protection Unit at Hillingdon council, if you experience odour.
