Elections are an important measure of local democracy, and residents of Toronto go to the polls in one month. The next council will set the course for High Park and the surrounding community for years to come.
High Park Access (HPA) has put together guidance to help engage candidates, including contact details for Ward 4 candidates and dates for local all-candidates' meetings. HPA created eight key questions, including this critical issue:
Question 4: On May 12th, 2023, Toronto Council voted to "approve full road closures at all times as the long-term strategy for travel network improvements in High Park". Do you support "full road closures at all times" as the long-term strategy for High Park?
