Wareside C of E Primary School is located in the small rural Hertfordshire village of Wareside, close to Ware, the school serves Wareside and surrounding areas. It has been a school since the 1700’s, it was originally a boys boarding school, and was then later founded as a mixed primary school in 1872, the school has been a central and integral part of our small village community ever since it was founded. It is the heart of our community, a place where children can be nurtured in a small, tight knit personal village environment, where they can build close relationships with their teachers, teaching assistants and peers.

Sadly our beloved village school is facing the threat of closure, If Hertfordshire County Council were to take our School away from us, it will change the face of our village forever, not just for the children, but the whole community, and future generations to come, many from the village and surrounding area will feel a deep sense of loss and sadness.

Simply put, the effect on our community will be devastating.

Everyone involved with the school, residents in Wareside, and the surrounding areas have all come together in a true community spirit, to launch a campaign to save Wareside School.
