For far too long, Downtown Salisbury has been trapped in a relentless cycle of business openings and heartbreaking closures. Over the past two years alone, more than 20 businesses have had to close their doors or relocate from downtown, leaving empty storefronts and a struggling community in their wake. For decades this cycle has cast a shadow over our beloved downtown, and we can’t let it continue.

 

But there is hope! Right now, we stand at a turning point—a chance to break free from this cycle and ignite a new era for Downtown Salisbury. By supporting the proposed density amendment and crucial development projects, we can breathe life back into the heart of our city.
