I am an anonymous student coming from Parry Sound High School. Mr. Baxter is the Vice Principal currently at the school. He has engaged in an unprofessional manner, being rude, dismissive, and perverted. He treats us students with disrespect and condescension. Many of us have had horrible experiences with him. Here are some individual statements from different students:

“I personally feel uncomfortable around one of Parry Sound High School’s staff, the vice principal Mr Baxter— I’ve heard many stories of him searching students without a guardian present and acting inappropriately towards staff and students. I’ve also had a personal experience where he came to “observe” my gym class (a female gym class) while we were doing dynamic stretches, where he kept moving places (I believe to get a better view of us) and never has he “observed” a male gym class.”

"Mr Baxter should be fired due to his rash decision making skills, his unwillingness to listen to other people’s point of view, and his unprofessional behaviour in the workplace.

Multiple student’s have had uncomfortable encounters with Mr Baxter, this fact should not be how any student should feel when in the presents of a vice principal nor any educational worker in general. He is yet to receive any punishment for his actions and continues to act on his own rash judgment rather than discuss with other coworkers, thus leading to questionable points of action."

And:

"From my experience and others', Mr. Baxter is a horrible VP. He brushes my concerns off, and doesn't take me seriously. He always makes promises like following up on issues and never does. He calls you in for detention and doesn't tell you why, while others outwardly call others racial slurs, threaten school shootings, and engage in hate speech in front of Mr. Baxter, and he does nothing about it. When I try to report serious things that have been done to me, he says there's not enough evidence or tries to convince me that it never happened. Note that he wasn't there. This is why I, among others, believe he should be fired/removed."

Please help our school remove this awful staff member and find one who cares about their students and takes our concerns seriously. Thank you.
