English always evolve.

Prepone is informally recognised in Indian English. However, it is not standard or recognised in global English

The origin of ‘pone’ can be traced from the Latin word ‘ponere’ meaning to put, place, or set while the prefix ‘post’ is also Latin, meaning ‘after’ to create the word ‘postpone’

By analogy, ‘prepone’ makes sense grammatically, historically, and semantically as the opposite of ‘postpone’
