However, Texas is not among them. The absence of this requirement has led to an increase in cases like ours, where properties are stolen through forgery.

We propose that all Gift Warranty Deeds should require two witnesses when being notarized in order to be valid. This will provide an additional layer of security against fraud and protect rightful owners from losing their properties unjustly.
