I am writing this petition to bring to the light the unbelievable horrors my children and I are enduring from the State of Mississippi and CPS. This all began because Lebonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN reported to CPS that they were "suspicious" that my then premature two month old son was being abused. Without being allowed to FIRST defend myself against the allegations, Mississippi's CPS came into my home and TOOK my children from the only Protector they knew. I've dealt with CPS before and by me being in their system the entire agency had an  assumption about me. They looked at me as being hot-headed, uncooperative, very outspoken when I'm being wronged; so I wasn't well-liked and they made sure I had no chance or VOICE. The policies and procedures of CPS was created to make it "legal" for the same people who took our children during slavery; to do it by their laws and destroy the Black Family. This has emotionally and mentally traumatized us; we are tired of their harsh laws, policies, decision-making and overbearing conditions. No light is shown on the horrific evils done to us in the Southern Slave States; we are PERPETUALLY oppressed, thrown in jail even when innocent, our rights are violated continuously. We endure being coerced out of fear,  we experience unprecedented levels of inequality, bias and RACISM everyday and its overlooked by the very ones we trust to judge us equally and with fairness. We are in their chess game(box) with systems(plays) put in place to KEEP Black People in their place and under their feet; as long as we continue to be their doormat will continue to be stomped down by the Adversary.
