Meath County Council (MCC) took possession of The Murray’s Family home on Monday 16th of March, 2026. MCC immediately invaded the property unannounced and forced the occupants out of their home. 

The Murray’s were unable to gather their belongings as they were forced to leave without delays. 

The Murray’s understand that demolition of the property is inevitable, however, they should have the opportunity to pack up their personal belongings and rightly take their possessions with them before the demolition occurs.

MCC will not allow the Murray’s access their home to take their personal belongings from the house and want to demolish their house with belongings remaining inside. 

Being their family home, there are items of immense sentimental value, all of their furnishings, clothing, memoirs, storage etc. remaining in the house. 

PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION TO SHOW MEATH COUNTY COUNCIL THAT YOU SUPPORT THE MURRAY’S IN PACKING UP THEIR FAMILY HOME BEFORE IT IS DEMOLISHED.
