Furthermore, the burden of caring for these animals often falls on shelters and animal welfare organizations, stretching their already limited resources. The emotional toll on those who witness suffering animals roaming the streets or struggling to survive is undeniable, highlighting the interconnectedness between humans and the animal kingdom.
