Help support David Parker on a Non-Violent drug offense.

The Issue

My name is Kabra Taylor I am 41 years old and married. I am a stay at home mother of two since 2016, David Mearl Parker inmate 03769380, is my oldest and only brother.
I am aware of my brother's offenses, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute completed 6+ years of his 151-month sentence. Served 6+ years at FCI Big Springs Low and Camp; now serving his time in FCC Beaumont Low. During the time that my brother has spent incarcerated he has been focused on taking all classes available to him. He has worked hard to improve his skills and broaden opportunities when he gets released. Just an example of some the classes include Electrical, Plumbing, Pipefitting, Automations, Food Service, Sanitation, Masonry, Leather, Mentoring Class, Parenting Program, Welding and now he is in the process of taking Appliance Repair and Diesel Repair.
Knowing my brother as I do, I know he is sorry for getting involved with in the situation he did. We have sat up for hours discussing what has happened in his life and indeed feeling remorse for his actions. He feels he has let the entire family down and sees how much we need him just as he needs us. It seems when our father passed away in 2009, David turned to drugs even harder to numb all feelings. My brother David is my moral support, my friend, my protector, he was there for me whenever I needed him, Since David has been incarcerated, our family has suffered in every way. He has always been my backbone in life through everything. He was there for me, even with me still battling my IC cancer and thyroid cancer. If I should lose my battle David will be the one who I trust with both of my daughters.. In his emails he talks about the regret he feels from that day and if he could change things he would. My brother writes about how much he loves his family and how he regrets the pain and suffering he has caused our family; the regret he has knowing he cannot see his children or grandchildren grow up.
As David's sister I know in my heart that my brother is not the same person he was 6-1/2 years ago, when I talk with him I hear the pain and regret in his voice and when I see my brother I see shame and pain in his eyes. Within my brother's heart, I know he is sincerely sorry for what he has done. I know David Parker is a better person and would do anything to undo the mistakes in his past, we all know that is not possible. I know if given a chance my brother will be an honest up-standing citizen and productive member of the society.
I am asking you to PLEASE sign and share this petition to help Grant Clemency to bring David home to his family that loves and needs him.
Thank you and God Bless You,
Kabra Taylor
