Stop the Assault on Endangered Species in South Florida

Stop the Assault on Endangered Species in South Florida
The Issue
Please help protect 19 Endangered Species, like the FL Panther.
Tell them: NO! "Incidental Take" trapping or killing these Endangered Species of our Precious Wildlife!
No "Conservation Plan" should include killing & 45,000 acres of habitat destruction of Critically Endangered Species! Deny the permit.
Be their voice! Let's make a Roar!! Comment -NO Permit! - post, tweet, spread the word before 11:59 pm Dec. 3rd. @ https://www.regulations.gov/comment?D=FWS-R4-ES-2018-0079-0001
Proposed changes would allow Incidental Take Permits, which authorize trapping & killing Endangered Species along with destruction of thousands of acres of land, cypress and pine trees.
It used to be said "The pen is mightier than the sword."
Let's see our voices can be mightier than bulldozing greed...
Voice your opposition to the cleverly titled “Eastern Collier Habitat Conservation Plan” proposed by several large landowners in the rural part of Collier County, currently under review by the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
If approved, this plan would authorize impacts, i.e. "Incidental Take Permits", which would allow for habitat destruction, trapping, harassing, harming and, yes, shooting, wounding and killing of listed endangered species, including the Florida panther and several other federally-protected species. This proposal potentially effects 152,124 acres, concentrating 45,000 acres with mining, residential, and commercial development.
The proposed re zoning to allow high density housing developments satisfies the profit of a few developers and certain land owners at the expense of endangered wildlife, as well as current residents and future generations.
Imagine the amount cutting of old growth and established, irreplaceable trees, some undisturbed for 100+ years. These could be cut to pack in crowded housing developments, then often planted with non-native vegetation and doused with herbicides and chemicals to "look pretty". Of course, this basically evicts the panthers & other wildlife, but how will they get the notice... With a death sentence of a bulldozer?
Proposed "Preserve Areas" offered for mitigation, while onsite, are not as helpful because the specific area where the endangered animals are currently living or using could be far away, altered or destroyed, and would still be open for other activities such as oil drilling. These areas could also allow the construction of roads to run through them bringing more deadly traffic, oil exploration, potential fracking and hunting camps - Hardly ideal preserved land!
This area of Collier County, FL is the last remaining core habitat area occupied and relied upon by the critically-endangered Florida panther, wood storks, red-cockaded woodpeckers, scrub jays, crested caracaras, snail kites, bonneted bats, eastern indigo snakes, gopher tortoises & more.
The Federal Government is reviewing the proposed elements, from the human and environmental factors which include loss of agricultural lands, water quality, ground water pollution and supply limits, increased traffic and road construction, climate change, and of course habitat loss and impacts on so much critical wildlife.
