Dear supporters, relatives, and community allies,

Thank you for continuing to walk beside me on this long and difficult path. Today, I want to share where things stand in the complaint I filed with the Manitoba Professional Planners Institute (MPPI) regarding the conduct of John Wintrup.

As of this week, I received a message from MPPI Executive Director Geoff Powell acknowledging that the multiple complaints brought forward—including mine—have been reviewed by the Complaints Committee. He also confirmed that MPPI’s legal counsel is now actively involved in reviewing the matter and that a more detailed response will be provided by the end of this week.

While this update is long overdue, it signals that our voices have not been ignored. I remain cautious but hopeful that accountability is on the horizon. The delays have been frustrating and at times deeply discouraging, but the growing support from community, allies, and those in positions of influence has been powerful.
