Elected officials are impressed with this grass roots effort!
Yet as of now the last scheduled public hearing is tonight, Tuesday Dec 9 at Southampton Town Hall at 6PM...although the developer will have continued hearings with the Board.
If you cannot attend tonight and speak - - consider sending an email saying deny the developer’s request for a change in zoning. That you don’t believe trading water quality and public accessed lands for a zoning change that permits private residential development along the Shinnecock Canal and a commercial hotel complex nearby is a fair trade in the public’s interest.
