Am happy to invite your participation in my online project (months in the making): "Sketches of Local History” is my medium for presenting alternative ideas for development (or restoration) of the Shinnecock Canal, the gateway to our community. “Sketches of Local History” references the paintings of the Canal in Shinnecock Hills by plein air artist William Merritt Chase, when he lived here (nearby my home) with his family and taught art, as a medium for studying development in our area.
