Every day, more and more of the internet is flooded with soulless junk generated by machines, simply because it makes companies money and it’s cheaper than actual human workforces. And guess what? NO ONE IS DOING ANYTHING TO STOP IT. If we keep standing by like we are, the internet will effectively become unusable, completely flooded with AI junk that, even when it doesn’t make companies money anymore and they move on, will take decades to push off the top search results. Humanity’s presence is slowly becoming obsolete, and guess what? This is what every single Sci-Fi movie and book warned us of. AI is taking our jobs, our passions, and replacing them with low-effort slop that corporations cannot get enough of. If we don’t step in now, it will become irreversible. I may not have a lawyer, but what I do have is a soul, hopes, and dreams, which is what makes me HUMAN. AI is just a bunch of algorithms that steal content and string it together, and corporations praise it like it’s Jesus Christ himself when it doesn’t even know what it’s talking about. It doesn’t have goals, hopes, dreams, sentience, or self awareness. It’s just a bunch of code, and that’s what separates humanity from the robots. I will be taking this petition to Google, Bing, OpenAI, and Elon himself to, hopefully, have them change their guidelines so using their AI to replace human employees/artists/film makers/musicians, and/or using them for commercial applications, such as advertisements, not allowed. Otherwise, we boycott and make them lose money so they have to listen. Because if corporations love anything in the world, it’s money.
