The system continues to  close ranks around those that are perpetrating the abuse of the children. They continue to take the voices away from those abused, this was the case for Australian of the Year Grace tame who was a victim of Sexual assault at the hands of her teacher. Sexual assault is not the only form of abuse that is being experienced. There is the physical abuse, as well as the psychological abuse that is happening. The children being left behind because they are 'too hard' and then those that are actively encouraged to leave school so that the teachers do not have to worry about them anymore.

WE ARE NOT saying that this is the case for all students and teachers but there are numerous incidents within the system that need to be addressed and the only way is through a transparent royal commission that is public for all to see.
