Fellow Louisianans Against Carbon Capture and Sequestration!

Tomorrow, Monday, March 17th, at 6:00 p.m., the Louisiana Department of Energy & Natural Resources (LDENR) will hold a public meeting to discuss CO2 Carbon Capture.

But here's the truth: LDENR isn't concerned about our state's well-being; they're after TAX CREDITS for CCS projects!

Recently, control over CCS was handed over from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to LDENR, giving them full authority to rubber-stamp CCS projects without adequate oversight.

This is a classic case of the fox guarding the henhouse!

LDENR claims this meeting is to "inform" the public about their rules and process for reviewing permit applications. BUT WE KNOW THEIR REAL GOAL: to push through CCS projects and line the pockets of corporate interests!

We're the ONLY thing standing between them and those permits! Our presence tomorrow won't stop their propaganda, but we'll still show up, speak out, and show out!

We won't give them an easy advantage! We'll let them know that CCS is NOT WELCOME in our state!
