1. Allen Parish Public Meeting: TOMORROW, Monday, February 24th, 6:00 PM, at the Oberlin Civic Center (Allen Parish). This meeting will discuss the future of our land, water, and environment in the face of CCS projects.
2. Jeff Davis Parish Public Meeting: February 27, 6:00 PM, at the Lacassine Community Center (Jeff Davis Parish). This meeting will focus on the effects of CCS in Jeff Davis Parish.
3. Pitkin Town Hall Meeting: March 1, 6:00 PM, at the Pitkin High School Auditorium (Vernon Parish). Learn about the proposed Denbury Draco Hub CO2 disposal site, which poses a significant risk to our school children and community, especially given its proximity to Pitkin High School. Express your opposition on our sign-in sheet.
4. Rep. Chuck Owen's Legislative Townhall (Beauregard Parish): March 3, 5:30 PM, at Grace Church in DeRidder (Beauregard Parish). Join Rep. Chuck Owen for a Legislative Townhall to discuss updates on legislative issues affecting Beauregard Parish.
5. Rep. Chuck Owen's Legislative Townhall (Vernon Parish): March 6, 5:30 PM, at Christian Living Fellowship in Leesville (Vernon Parish). Join Rep. Chuck Owen for a Legislative Townhall to discuss updates on legislative issues affecting Vernon Parish.
