PLEASE HELP US SAVE MARY! and start a larger movement  so that a Municipal Court in any town in any state cannot sentence our family pets to death!

The City of Corvallis, Oregon, has been threatening to euthanize Mary since May 21, 2022.  She is a service dog. One false police report led to 7 police officers piling on owner and Mary at owner's workplace. More here https://www.facebook.com/groups/553615909495272

Police tased Mary and pulled a gun on her and her owner in a grocery store deli on a Saturday afternoon. Dog did break officer skin in the fray, protecting herself and her owner. 

Owner was not charged with any crime, but Mary was deemed a dangerous dog and the "community service officers (CSO)" continue to ask the Municipal Court have her euthanized. Mary has no previous bite history. She's 13 years old.

But there’s more to story. Police are latching on to the idea of killing Mary, and they are taking owner to court again for the 4th time on August 18. His disability makes it difficult for him to represent himself in court. One "CSO" when I asked for a resolution,  said "he should move out of the county."

He needs a lawyer to go up against City on August 18. We have a lawyer who needs 3000.00 in retainer.  Please help any donations can be made at this link

Mary could use your support.  This is also a nationwide issue!  City ordinances allow municipal courts to dole out the death penalty to beloved family members nationwide!

We need the City of Corvallis to remove this dangerous dog designation for Mary.

Please leave a comment on petition with your thoughts on city ordinances being allowed to give the death penalty without due process of the law as guaranteed in the 14th amendment of our US Constitution!  We are joining forces with others around the country to put an end to this archaic practice!
