Our granddaughter AMELIA is currently in foster care, a reality that has shattered our hearts. We spent three precious months caring for her while she was vulnerable in the hospital, battling the effects of being born addicted to drugs. It was a challenging time, but she was surrounded by the love and care she needed to heal because of her PAPA & ME . Now, the system has taken her away from us, and we are left in the dark about her welfare, her location, or even who is caring for her.THE COURTS HAVE FAILED US AS WELL AND WOULDNT EVEN ACCEPT GUARDIANSHIP PAPER WORK ! Won’t tell us court dates for Amelia because they want to adopt her out asap why are they in such a hurry law is 1 yr 

My husband, who has a record from 21 years ago, has been entirely exonerated. It seems profoundly unjust that a past mistake, long rectified, should prevent us from providing a loving home to our grandbaby. The state of Oklahoma has removed us from her case without clear justification, and we are heartbroken. We cannot simply stand by while efforts are being made to adopt her out without giving her family a fair chance to reunite.

Our request is simple and just: allow our grandchild to come home to the family that loves her. We want to be a part of her life, to see her grow, and to give her the support and love she rightfully deserves. We are not the enemy; we are her family. It is imperative that Child Protective Services reevaluate this decision and recognize the potential harm and trauma of separating a child from her family without just cause.
