Help restore a FUN part of our city’s history by reinstating the QEII Fun Park!

The new pool at QEII has revitalised an important part of our city’s history, and with new schools and a new gymnastics centre currently under construction, it is fast becoming the community and sporting hub it once was.

Our goal is to lease land from the CCC to build a new QEII Fun Park!

QEII was always the home for fun when I was growing up, and I have so many great memories of speeding down the sack slide, playing mini golf and smacking balls off the driving range!  The fun park at QEII first opened in 1983, Ascot golf course opened in 1967 and the driving range in 1990.

The first part of our mission is to lease CCC land and reinstate the QEII fun park which would look to include:
- A sack slide
- A golf driving range, practice green and pro shop
- Indoor mini golf
- Batting cages for softball/baseball & cricket nets
- Multi sport state-of-the-art simulators
- And of course a café or restaurant

The location of the land we are hoping to lease is from Robin Tait Drive to the Frosts Road and Travis Road boundaries of QEII.

With it’s brand new pool and gymnastics centre, QEII is once again establishing itself as a sporting hub, so help us put the FUN back into this incredibly important part of our city’s history.

We want this wonderful community initiative to be included in the CCC Master Plan so if you would like to see this complex built SIGN this petition & SHARE to show your support.
