As a member of the Wright County community for well over 50 years, I have personally witnessed my fair share of the grave consequences of false allegations on a diligent and hardworking individual. K&H Towing and Recovery is a reputable family-owned, local small business that has been subjected to baseless allegations by a known professional harasser, who is relentlessly campaigning to tarnish its reputation and strip the owner of his livelihood. This unfounded vilification has unjustly impacted professional relationships, including their contract with the Wright County Sheriff's Office. The harasser has made himself known as [Redacted], the author of a hack gossip page called Wright County Watch MN that he often, ironically, hides behind to conceal his own identity. [Redacted] has recently made this company a target of false allegations of criminal acts and perceived wrongdoings, simply because of a law enforcement action against an associate of his occurred and a request for a tow by said law enforcement brought K&H Towing and Recovery into the situation. The vehicle owner then attempted to circumvent policy and procedure held by both police and tow yard laws and regulations, and spitefully and without merit, claimed they were physically assaulted when they showed up unannounced and without identification to retrieve property without prior authorization from law enforcement. Because [Redacted] has developed a reputation as a mass agitator using social media and other means, he recruited other ill-informed followers to inundate the Sheriff's Office and County Commissioners with emails and phone calls in order to further his unjustified public smear campaign on a small business and have K&H Towing and Recovery removed as a contracted towing option with the Wright County Sheriff's Office - all simply because he disagreed with the legitimacy of the tow request made by law enforcement and to increase traffic to his blog/web page. [Redacted] was neither there, nor directly involved in any part of the law enforcement action but injected himself into it, nonetheless, and decided to take steps to advance his selfish and self-righteous agenda. This abhorrent behavior has led to a substantial financial hardship for a family-owned business, working hard in today's economy to make ends meet. Legal action against [Redacted] and his dubious blog is being pursued, but it does not and will not counter the damage that has already been done. K&H Towing and Recovery is not the first victim of his keyboard bullying, and unlikely to be his last. Any attempt by his victims to retort the accusations or stand up against him is often met with hostility, with clear intent to cause further damage to reputations and livelihoods. All of which he admittedly finds amusing.

This orchestrated and experience-based denigration is not only a personal assault, but an attack on the strength and character of our community. It is time we band together to uphold the integrity of local small businesses like K&H Towing and Recovery and stand against the destructive power of false accusations and bullying. By reinstating the contract between the Wright County Sheriff's Office and K&H Towing and Recovery, we can demonstrate our commitment to justice and truth.

This is about more than one small business contract - it is about ensuring that our community remains a place for honesty, respect, and fair dealing. For these reasons, we request that the Wright County Sheriff's Office recontract with K&H Towing and Recovery. Now is the time to rectify this injustice and stop this bully in his tracks.
