Many Golda students, including myself, have found sanctuary in our school's performing arts program. This incredible program is not just a curriculum to me and my fellow peers; it represents creativity, and is an outlet for self-expression. It provides a platform where we can voice our concerns, explore our individuality, and delve into various issues. 

For many of us, it is more than a hobby—it's a passion. The performing arts program offers us the opportunity and freedom to express who we are, which in turn creates a sense of community, connection and confidence. However, this beloved program is in jeopardy due to inadequate funding and visibility within the MPS district.

Golda Meir's performing arts program is not exclusive. It's inclusive, drawing students from all backgrounds, many of whom might not otherwise have access to such opportunities. The students engaged in this program walk away with valuable skills like teamwork, communication, and critical thinking—skills that prepare us for life beyond school.

This program needs your support to continue making a difference in our lives and in the lives of future students.
