Our team has begun the long journey from our base to Yulin. Mr Zhao will be accompanied by Julia, and they heroically face this horror each year.
They have already encountered the large trucks that will soon be laden with cages of stolen dogs. You will have seen from the media that stealing pets is commonplace, as is rounding up strays, and actual dog farms deep in the countryside—so many it’s hard to count.
There is progress in parts of China with a ban on dog meat eating in Guangdong, but restaurants run by the evil people of Guanxi still exist.
You can see from the vendor's expression in the photo that he couldn't care less about sentience or suffering. Such open-air sales in the boiling heat are also a massive health hazard.Our team at NoToDogMeat is only small, and we work with devoted volunteers around the globe to raise our voice.
