Kelly’s Story
In the summer of 2022, when many of you were still in lockdown, our team in China went up into the hills behind Yulin and uncovered a ‘ dog farm’. There were many breed dogs, likely stolen pets and they were all locked up. Some in the scorching sun in tiny cages. Water bowls were either empty or mouldy. No sign of food. We managed to get inside and rescue the dogs. Sadly many did not make it. Distemper and other infectious diseases had already taken hold. Kelly was skin and bones, but despite the odds this beautiful golden retriever pulled through. We sent her to the small base in Beijing sure she would find a home. After nearly 4 years of being over looked she is finally on her way to her forever home this Easter morning. Photos and a video show her happiness. Please check our socials. It’s a real Easter Blessing for Us. So many dogs we have rescued never get a chance of a loving family. We can only pray for more homes.
We can’t do any of this without your help. Sharing posts, kind comments and vital donations. We do urgently need to buy food this April and having recently rescued more dogs ( see pics) have so many expenses.
